September 2026 Porsche Market Update
September had no Monterey, and the month’s four biggest published Porsche prices all came off Bring a Trailer inside $47,000 of each other: a 24k-mile Guards Red 993 Turbo S at $852,000, a 237-mile Signal Yellow GT2 RS at $850,000, then a 196-mile S/T and a Guards Red GT2 RS at $805,000 apiece. The oldest car with by far the most miles finished first, which is the air-cooled Turbo premium in a single result. Same month, PCARMARKET sold a 20k-mile Guards Red 924S for $15,500 — fifty-five of them for one Turbo S.
356 (1948-1965)
Bonhams sold a 1958 356A Speedster at Goodwood for £155,250 on 9/19. BaT’s twin-grille roadster, with a non-original 1,925cc engine, made more than twice that. The roadster is no longer the cheap way into an open 356.
High
High Price: $541,000 — 1962 Porsche 356B Twin-Grille Roadster
One of 249 D’Ieteren-bodied twin-grille roadsters: Champagne Yellow over green leather, four-speed, Porsche CoA, 600 miles on a reset odometer since a 2005–08 rotisserie refurbishment that took the engine to 1,925cc. Right body, right color, no reserve. Nobody cared about the displacement.
Bargain
Bargain Price: $65,000 — 1965 Porsche 356C Coupe
Karmann-bodied, Bali Blue over black, replacement 1.6, four-speed, 36k on a rolled odometer, CoA, same owner since 2010. Bubbling in the lower doors and rust in the wheel wells are disclosed. Price the metalwork in and it’s still a disc-brake 356 you can drive now.
F-Model / Longhood 911 (1964-1973)
High
High Price: $172,500 — 1970 Porsche 911S Coupe
Built January 1970 and delivered new to Switzerland: Metallic Blue over beige leatherette and corduroy, 2.2 with the 901 five-speed, ~38k miles (61k km), factory sunroof, Porsche Classic Technical Certificate. Pulled in August over a certificate error, per the Stuttgart Market Letter. Fix the paperwork and the money waits for you.
Bargain
Bargain Price: $55,000 — 1970 Porsche 911T Coupe
Silver over black, five-speed, 66,938 miles, same owner since 1977, engine and carbs rebuilt within the last 4k miles, inspected by PORBOYS. The repaint needs correcting; the mechanicals don’t. A long-hood five-speed for about a third of the S.
914 (1970-1976)
Correction to August: the 1970 914-6 we ran as August’s High at $70,000 never completed. It was relisted and sold for $73,000 on 9/2. A second stock-bodied six with a replacement engine and gearbox made $79,000 on 9/17. The High below is a RUF build, which is a different market.
High
High Price: €225,000 — 1970 Porsche 914-6 (RUF-Modified)
A real 914-6, delivered new to Belgium and taken to M471 GT spec in 1975, then rebuilt by RUF for owner Luc Donckerwolke: twin-plug 2.4, five-speed, LSD, Heigo cage, repainted Grand Prix White, ~199 miles since the build. Sold in euros. This is a RUF car that happens to start as a 914-6, and it’s priced that way.
Bargain
Bargain Price: $22,000 — 1971 Porsche 914 1.7
Irish Green over tan, fuel-injected 1.7, five-speed, 67k miles, restored under previous ownership and owned since 2012, sold at no reserve. A restored car in a real 914 color for twenty-two grand.

High Price: $311,000 — 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe
European-delivery 930 that stayed with its original owner until 2026: Meteor Metallic over black full leather, four-speed, LSD, 14k miles, copy of the window sticker. One owner for forty years. That’s what $311,000 buys.

High
High Price: $16,500 — 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo
Silver, five-speed, 59k miles, with a Carrera GT-style hood, flares, bumpers and graphics added by a previous owner, plus Pasha inserts. It’s a 924 Turbo in a costume, not a 924 Carrera GT, and it topped a thin month.
Bargain
Bargain Price: $15,500 — 1987 Porsche 924S
Guards Red over black, five-speed, 19,752 miles, 29 years with its original owner before it was donated to Eastern Iowa Community College in 2016. The 944’s 2.5 in the narrow body, at 20k miles. Pick of the bucket.

High

Guards Red over black partial leather, five-speed, LSD, 75k miles. It spent about two decades in storage, then took more than $55k of recommissioning from Gaudin Porsche and won Preservation National Champion at the 2025 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge. The trophy did the lifting.
Bargain

High
High Price: $77,500 — 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder
Canadian car, registered in Ontario from new: Carrara White over Cocoa, PDK, PCCB, Sport Chrono Plus, ~28k miles (45k km). PDK keeps a Spyder off a lot of shopping lists. Ceramics and low miles got this one to $77,500 anyway.

Specials
No clean sale. We couldn’t verify a Carrera GT, 918, 959 or 911 GT1 that crossed a public block and sold in September. RM’s sealed-bid Singer “Cape Palmas Commission” was marked sold when the sale closed on 9/30, but RM hasn’t published a price, and we don’t print numbers we can’t see.
